I work as a professional graphic designer and fine-art printmaker. Following a fairly long printmaking sabbatical, I've recently started creating new collections of digital prints. My early work focused on screen-printing and although I explored other traditional printing techniques and combining them with digital while studying for my MA, I'm now focusing solely on digital printmaking.
For my latest digital print editions I've started working with one of the UK’s leading fine art printers. Drawing on my experience in both digital printmaking and graphic design, and using the very latest technologies for ensuring colour accuracy and print quality, I'm creating colour-perfect Giclée prints at theprintspace, an award-winning fine-art printer trusted by galleries and artists across Europe.
My new prints are created in a digital environment, integrating drawing and digital mark-making with concepts from screen-printing and computer graphics. I use a colour calibrated digital art workflow, with both on-screen soft-proofing and printed proofs. When I arrive at a finished print that I'm completely happy with, I sign-off a final printed proof and digitally sign the originating print file for that limited edition.
My digital print editions are museum-quality Giclée prints, created with archival inks on Hahnemühle fine-art papers, printed at theprintspace studios in London and Düsseldorf. Issued in limited editions of 50, each print is signed and numbered and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
